Surrounded by eighteenth-century pine trees, Casa Moneta is one of the most ancient homes on the isle. You can find it on the road that leads to the ruins of the villa of Tiberious Emperor (Villa Jovis), in a very quiet place but not so far away from the center (the famous "Piazzetta").
You reach the door of the house, by crossing through the garden on a beautiful walkway with doric columns. The outside of the villa is beautified with cross vault patios. In the internal part of the house you can admire the high arched ceilings, the original 19th century ancient decorated maiolica tile, and the original valuable antique furniture.

In some special circumstances the Villa has accommodated outdoor concerts of classical music and exhibitions. Recently it has been chosen by some artists as location for their works.
During the springtime and the summertime the house offers vacation days in peacefulness and comfort. The house offers five bedrooms. It gives comfortable accomodation for nine adults; the bedrooms are located on the second floor.
On the ground floor, you find the living room, the dining room, a television room and a big kitchen. The villa offers satellite tv, hifi, and computer connected to internet.
