This is the official site of my vacation house "Casa Moneta" located on Capri Island (Italy). I have made it because I meet a lot of tourists asking information about the house and if it is possible to enter. Of course, it's not possible for me give physical access to my home to everyone. You can find here photos of the villa, a synopsis of the house's history and information about the life of the great Neapolitan painter Carlo Siviero, (1882-1953) who lived in the home and made the most recent changes to the building.I'll give you also a little bit of information about Capri Island, a must if you're planning to visit Italy. Surrounded by eighteenth-century pine trees, Casa Moneta is one of the most ancient homes on the isle. You can find it on the road that leads to the ruins of the villa of Tiberious Emperor (Villa Jovis), in a very quiet place but not so far away from the center (the famous "Piazzetta").
You reach the door of the house, by crossing through the garden on a beautiful walkway with doric columns. The outside of the villa is beautified with cross vault patios. In the internal part of the house you can admire the high arched ceilings, the original 19th century ancient decorated maiolica tile, and the original valuable antique furniture.

In some special circumstances the Villa has accommodated outdoor concerts of classical music and exhibitions. Recently it has been chosen by some artists as location for their works.
During the springtime and the summertime the house offers vacation days in peacefulness and comfort. The house offers five bedrooms. It gives comfortable accomodation for nine adults; the bedrooms are located on the second floor.
On the ground floor, you find the living room, the dining room, a television room and a big kitchen.The villa offers satellite tv, hifi, and computer connected to internet.
